Dancehall enthusiasts flocked to the National Stadium in St Andrew on Friday night for a standout event during Dancehall Week 2024, ‘I Love Dancehall’.

The event was a testament to patrons’ unwavering devotion to the genre, who showed up to celebrate their passion for dancehall music.

Dancehall Week, the first staging of the event, garnered endorsements from top government bodies, including the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, as well as the Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation. These endorsements highlight the cultural significance and widespread appeal of dancehall, solidifying its position as a cornerstone of Jamaican entertainment.
